Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, is a self-financing higher educational institution that started its operations in 1953 by establishing the first self-financing medical college as Public Private collaboration model. Over the years various institutions have been added and finally, in June 1993, this group of institutions have been declared as a Deemed to be University by the Govt. of India. Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an online examination conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for providing candidates with admission opportunities in various courses taught at Manipal University. Manipal Entrance Test (MET), previously known as Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET), is a gateway to admission into various UG and PG courses such as BBA, B.Pharm, B.A, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E, M.Pharm, M.Sc and many more. MET 2024 is a 2-hour duration exam where candidates are tested across 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
